Mary, thanks so much for your advice. I did as you suggested and did find some information that may help. My Mary's father was Thomas and there was a Thomas listed in the 1901 census and the Griffith's Valuation. I also found a convent school listed, Sisters of Mercy, and supposedly Mary was in a convent for 13 years. My concern is whether or not the birth cert. I received is really my Mary. I know the dates can be way off on such things. Her parents match the death cert. and the marriage cert. however. Do you have any more advice? I appreciate your knowledge and willingness to share it.
